Weekly English reading of Prof. M.A.S Abdel Haleem’s acclaimed translation of the ‘The Qur’ān’, published by Oxford World’s Classic. These sessions will be led by Sabeena Hussain – see our Teachers link.
Sessions are only for women and start this Monday 9.30am to 10.30am at Café W at Waterstone (72 Midsummer Pace) at Intu (shopping centre MK) – next to Zara. Children are welcome, with the caveat that if they are not settled that you try to settle them so as not to disturb others.
Please attend even if fasting, whether it be the Shawwal fasts or sunnah fasts on Mondays.
This is not a tafsir class but a joint reading in an open forum with light discussion so that attendees can reflect on the Quran in English.
