Abdur Rahman ibn ‘Awf reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Abu Bakr is in Paradise. Umar is in Paradise. Uthman is in Paradise. Ali is in Paradise. Talhah is in Paradise. Al-Zubayr is in Paradise. Abdur Rahman ibn ‘Awf is in Paradise. Sa’d is in Paradise. Sa’id is in Paradise. Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah is in Paradise.”

Allah is pleased with the Sahaba, but these ten were specifically mentioned to have this great status – known as al-‘ashara al-mubashiroon bil-jannah.
We will look at their lineage, their Islam, their qualifying features, their notable actions and their legacy to gain a better connection with them and to try to emulate them.
Each week we will take one Sahabi and we encourage women and children to attend.
Make an intention to gain closeness to Allah by learning about those who were beloved to Him.
